The University Club offers a wide variety of services and amenities for our members. In addition to our dining services, private functions can be arranged to meet your business, social and entertainment needs. Our clubhouse offers several rooms and flexibility to accommodate events from small meetings to weddings and other special celebrations. Within the clubhouse, we also offer guest rooms for overnight visiting members and sponsored guests. Our athletic facility houses the finest squash facility in Northern California, and our reciprocal club list has swelled to more than 180 clubs around the world. And last but not least, our members enjoy a variety of social activities that the club sponsors to build a community within the club.

Hours of Operation

The reception desk is staffed 24 hours a day, but the doors are locked between 8:00 PM and 7:00 AM for safety with access by a buzzer.

Lunch

Monday-Friday               Noon to 2:00 PM

Located on the 4th Floor

Lunch is also served in the dining room on the 3rd floor on Fridays.

Dinner

Wednesday                     6:00 to 9:00 PM                    

Located on the 3rd floor.

Reservations recommended but not required.

Fourth Floor Bar

Monday & Tuesday       Noon to 9:00 PM

Thursday                        Noon to 10:00 PM

Wednesday & Friday     Noon to 11:00 PM

Weekends & Holidays   No meals served; bar closed

Dress Code

Befitting a club with a 118 year old tradition, the dress code is business casual. Designer jeans are acceptable. Dress code is not mandatory in the lobby and in the athletic facility.

What is Casual Business Attire?

By what is appropriate to the season and in good taste. For gentlemen this means collared shirt, casual dress trousers, appropriate sweaters, men's casual shoes (coat and tie optional). Women may wear casual skirts and pants.

The House Rules prohibit the wearing of T-Shirts, tank tops, shorts of any type, beach sandals, athletic shoes and athletic clothing.
